Interested to see who’s Headlining on Friday night?! It’s the Legends of Hip Hop!
This medley of incredible hip hop performers will be hosted by Flavor Flav, popular reality television star and rapper. Flavor Flav will be joined by Young MC, an American Music Award winner for Best Rap Artist and Grammy Award winner for Best Rap Performance. Young MC is the mind and voice behind the hit single, “Bust a Move.” In addition to these talented artists, Rob Base will also be featured. Base has had multiple smash hits, including “It Takes Two,” “Get on the Dance Floor,” and “Joy and Pain.” DJ Kool will also be performing, probably best known for his hit single “Let Me Clear My Throat.” DJ Kool innovatively mixes a classic rap sound with feel-good go-go beats, creating a fusion of music that can’t fail to get a crowd going. Finally, Digital Underground joins these legends on stage. Mastermind Shock-G fuses funk grooves with old-school hip hop to produce hits such as “Your Life’s A Cartoon,” “Doowutchalike,” and “Kiss You Back.”
